Mike’s House Rub

So, this week I’m at a vegetarian’s worst nightmare – Meatstock!

Its the biggest celebration of all things meat, BBQ’s and hipsters! I’m there for both days with Engel fires and today was the first time I’ve ever been.
Quite the eye-opener, some of the BBQs are the size of a small truck and the boys and girls working them are so passionate and knowledgeable about what they are serving.
With plenty of cooking tips, secret sauces and lashings of native wood smoke and words like Off-set cooking, Skirt steaks, lip-smacking, Pit-master and low and slow. It’s certainly something a BBQ lover could find their happy place.

So, keeping to the BBQ theme I want to share with you my super-secret meat rub to make your BBQ a winner. Just don’t tell anyone.
