I’m figuring all the mums out there are pretty happy with a breakfast in bed?
But what if us boys can do a breakfast followed up by a fantastic dinner.
It will blow her mind! With or without the kids.
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 garlic, sliced
- 500 diced lamb shoulder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cumin powder, turmeric, paprika
- 6 cardamon pods
- 1 cinnamon stick
- pinch white pepper
2 large tomatoes
1 Tbsp tomato paste
2 cups chicken stock
Heat a heavy based pot ( oven proof)
Add oil followed by the onions, garlic. Heat on high heat until onions are just starting to colour. Add drained Lamb dice, season with salt and sauté until well coloured.
Next comes all the spice, then the tomatoes, paste and chicken stock.
Cover and place into a pre heated oven on 180 for 30- 40 minutes.
Serve with cous cous (follow packet instructions), almonds, coriander and freshly squeezed lemon.
